Upskilling managers at scale through a refined blend of animation, infographics and live learning

Context & challenges

Following a period of significant change, a client approached us with a goal in mind: to upskill their management layer through a bespoke development programme.

The challenge: getting everyone on the same page in just 12 months. With such a short timeline, we knew that we had to create something engaging and easy to digest as a part of the programme. We needed a learning mechanism that would summarise the key learning points of live facilitated workshops effectively whilst balancing clarity, visual appeal, professional polish and approachability.

Solution

We understand that the most effective programmes are those you can continually return to for ongoing support. To enhance accessibility and engagement, we developed a series of bite-sized animated videos available on demand, complemented by visually compelling infographics. Each topic of the programme had a matching animation and infographic as key takeaways. Adding these design-led elements to the programme allowed participants to digest the workshops more easily and refer back to the content when they needed it in order to develop and embed critical skills long-term.

As a leader in wealth management services, our client sought a refined visual identity that would reflect their commitment to excellence. To achieve this, we expanded on their existing colour palette and typography. Our creative design featured minimalist illustrations enhanced with organic shapes to introduce warmth and personality. This approach struck a balance between elegance and clarity, ensuring the visuals supported — rather than distracted from — the core message.

Results

The materials were incredibly striking. They were easy to absorb and stuck with participants long after the live workshops were delivered. By creating short, sharp assets that could be accessed on demand, participants were also given greater autonomy over their learning, which had a positive impact on programme participation.

Overall, the infographics and videos were a success in re-enforcing our client’s company branding and upskilling their management layer, accelerating participant learning in a short time period by giving participants something to come away from their sessions with.

Our key takeaway? Learning doesn’t stop in the session. Giving participants the right tools makes a significant difference in allowing them to reflect and recall their key learnings effectively.
