Context & challenges
Our client came to us with a clear vision: to evolve their existing learning offer to meet the needs of a 60,000-strong workforce. Their existing programme needed streamlining to become more intuitive, accessible, and performance focused. Interested in bringing a long-term sense of structure, consistency, and alignment to their learning practices, The retailer sought to partner with us.
Key priorities included:

✔︎ Making workshops accessible to everyone —virtual or in-person.

✔︎ Creating agile, measurable content that delivers real business impact.


Solution
Our objective was to create a programme which was accessible, practical, and evidence-based.
We began with an in-depth, in-person scoping session at our London office to identify goals and expectations. A two-month pilot phase followed, where we tested two workshops with senior L&D leaders to get their invaluable feedback and refine the experience further.
We launched an international rollout focused on four core skills, to be delivered quarterly.
To ensure flexibility and reach, the programme included three formats:
3-hour
in-person immersive workshops across three UK locations for in-person collaboration and discussion.
3-hour
virtual workshops for those who want to deep dive and discuss.
45-minute
“Boosts” for those who want the insights but may not have time for immersive discussion.
Results
What began as a brief to optimise learning became a standout example of what’s possible through close collaboration. The programme wasn’t just a learning solution. It was the start of a partnership built on shared ambition, collaboration, and agility.
